God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. I had the pleasure of working with Jerry at the Chicago Transit Authority for over 15 years! He has given me rides home from work many times because I lived in Evanston at the time and he lived in Skokie! Jerry was intelligent, union oriented, looked out for our rights as bus operators, compassionate, and sincerely cared about people! He was also a cool guy! After he retired, I stopped by to see him a couple of times and met his wonderful wife! Will miss you Jerry! God bless your family!

I first met Jerry at a local 241 union meeting.
For many years after, we would discuss various union administration issues. RIP my friend and thoughts and prayers to your family
